Was it the right time to end one of the best factions in WWE? And why was no one in the RAW locker room ready to face The Scottish Psychopath? Weren’t several men, including Sheamus, looking to take down McIntyre when he was the WWE Champion?

A Battle Royal on NXT awarded six men a chance to compete in a Gauntlet Match on the first night of TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. The winner of the match will get a shot at the North American Championship on the second night. While challengers have simply appeared for the NXT Champion, why has NXT made it difficult to challenge for the North American Champion?

WALTER will have a busy week as he will defend his title twice over two nights in two different countries. Will The Ring General end another week on a high?

Edge brought back The Rated-R Superstar on SmackDown this week. Daniel Bryan made things even more interesting by taking both Edge and Roman Reigns down at the end of the night. Has Bryan’s build been a little too similar to the one in 2014?

Plus, Apollo Crews challenged Big E to a Nigerian Drum Match at WrestleMania. What is a Nigerian Drum Match, after all?

Let’s take a look at the five biggest questions from this week’s shows.

#5 Why did The Hurt Business implode on WWE RAW?

RETRIBUTION looked like a promising faction during the pandemic era in WWE. The villainous faction wreaked havoc on RAW and SmackDown before settling for the Red brand last year.

Fans expected RETRIBUTION to do a lot more than it did in WWE and slowly started losing value before Mustafa Ali was revealed as the faction’s leader. However, that did not help the group much, and they finally imploded at Fastlane.

On the other hand, The Hurt Business picked up the pace on RAW during the pandemic era. MVP helped Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin reach new heights on the Red brand. Lashley won the United States Championship, followed by the WWE Championship on RAW. Alexander and Benjamin had a good reign as the RAW Tag Team Champions.

While WWE teased a divide between Alexander and Benjamin, the two men did not split from the faction. Instead, The Hurt Business imploded on RAW this week after MVP and Lashley expressed their displeasure at Alexander and Benjamin’s recent work.

The Hurt Business received a lot of praise from some fans online and seemed like the most dominant faction in the company today. Then why did WWE decide to end The Hurt Business? Will the entire storyline simply help Drew McIntyre win the WWE Championship once again?

Fans can only hope that this entire storyline isn’t just being built to help The Scottish Warrior come out on top again. Alexander and Benjamin were doing a fine job with Lashley and MVP, and WWE could have kept the faction together for a few more months.

#4 Why were grown men playing games on WWE RAW before WrestleMania?

The New Day defeated Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander to win the WWE RAW Tag Team Championships a few weeks ago. AJ Styles and Omos soon came out to challenge the new champions to a match at WrestleMania.

With no backstory or buildup, The New Day was booked in a match against Styles and Omos for The Show of Shows. While Styles is a former WWE Champion who hasn’t won a tag team title in the company, Omos is yet to make his debut.

However, WWE had more than enough time to build towards a possible storyline that could make the rivalry more interesting. However, the creative seem to have failed to do so. This week on RAW, the two teams continued their bizarreness as The New Day, and the team of Styles and Omos continued to play some games before a singles match.

Is that the best WWE could do with three veterans and a newcomer on RAW? Is there no other way to make this rivalry more interesting and captivating?

WWE could have taken this storyline in many ways and given Styles and Omos a good build before WrestleMania. After all, it looks like the two will be winning their first tag team titles at The Show of Shows.

However, the creative gave fans another forgettable segment just a few days before WrestleMania. Will this affect fans’ interest in the upcoming match?

#3 Why did WWE need to book another tag team match to build the women’s championship rivalry on RAW?

WWE SmackDown saw Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair work on the same page yet again. At Fastlane, the two SmackDown stars competed for the Women’s Tag Team Championships and imploded in the process.

After using the same recipe to build the match between Karrion Kross and Finn Balor for the NXT Championship, the creatives turned the focus to RAW. Rhea Ripley arrived on RAW and immediately challenged Asuka for the RAW Women’s Championship.

Even with such little build, this was turning out to be one of the more interesting women’s matches for WrestleMania. However, WWE seems to have lost the plot once again.

This past week, Ripley accepted a tag team match on behalf of Asuka and herself against Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. This means that WWE will once again use a tag team match to build a big championship match.

Why is WWE using the same method over and over again every week? Have the creatives run out of ideas to take certain storylines forward?

At this point, the Universal Championship picture is the only title feud that is worth following on the road to WrestleMania. Will WWE mend its ways anytime soon?

#2 How will WALTER compete at WWE NXT UK Prelude and TakeOver: Stand & Deliver?

WALTER will be defending his WWE NXT United Kingdom Championship against Tommaso Ciampa at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver. The TakeOver event will be held over two nights on April 7 and 8, and WALTER will defend his title on the first night of the show.

Halfway across the globe, NXT UK will host Prelude on April 8. WALTER is scheduled to defend his Championship against Rampage Brown.

How will WALTER defend his title against two opponents on two different continents in two nights? Is WWE giving away the result of the match at TakeOver: Stand & Deliver?

While it’s clear that the Prelude match between The Ring General and Brown will be pre-recorded, it gives away too many details regarding the match being held at TakeOver.

That means WALTER will retain his title at TakeOver since he cannot defend it the next night if he’s scheduled to lose to Ciampa.

Was there a way WWE could have avoided this clash that makes the match at TakeOver a little less interesting? Should they have done something to prevent giving away the result of the live match at TakeOver? WWE needs to think about this before booking similar matches in the future.

#1 Whose side will Logan Paul take at WWE WrestleMania?

YouTube sensation Logan Paul arrived on WWE SmackDown this week at the special invitation of Sami Zayn. Zayn hosted the red carpet premiere of his documentary trailer, and Logan was available to make the segment more memorable.

Sami Zayn invited Paul to be his guest during his match against Kevin Owens at WWE WrestleMania, and Paul gladly accepted.

Zayn was overzealous, and Paul looked a little uncomfortable in the ring with him. After Zayn played his documentary trailer, Logan revealed that Owens had already warned him about his delusions.

This did not fit well with the former Intercontinental Champion, who got ticked off before KO arrived. Owens hit Zayn with a Stunner before walking away. However, Owens shoved Logan on his way out.

By the looks of it, Paul did not seem too happy with where Zayn’s head is taking him. He believed what Owens told him before the segment. However, KO shoved him before walking out, which makes one wonder whose side Paul will be on at WrestleMania?

Paul can play a major role during the match at WrestleMania. He is an experienced boxer who can surely take a few bumps to make the overall match better.
