We are only 12 days away from WrestleMania, and judging by the route the blue brand has taken, it’s a necessity for the creative team to deliver something exceptional.

The WWE is advertising four matches for tonight’s edition of SmackDown Live, and it’s safe to say that the company will heavily focus on addressing the recent firings of Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.

So, without further ado, let’s look at what awaits us in Pittsburgh tonight.

#1 The Queen will look for Payback

Charlotte’s date with Asuka at the Grandest Stage of them All has brought a new breath of life in the SmackDown’s Women’s division.

However, Carmella could be waiting in the back to catch the Queen off-guard and capture the SmackDown Live Women’s Championship.

The Queen’s last week encounter ended on an embarrassing note with Natalya getting the win thanks to an assist from Carmella.

The loss has significantly hindered Charlotte’s momentum heading into New Orleans and with the WWE advertising a rematch for tonight, we can surely expect some retaliation.

#2 The misery of the United States Championship continues

The U.S. Champion and his challengers are scheduled to be in action tonight with Randy Orton and Bobby Roode teaming up to face Jinder Mahal and Sunil Singh.

From a creative standpoint, this match makes some sense because of the prominent focus on Orton and Roode’s partnership. But if these sort of bouts are anything to learn from, we might get another predictable outcome.

The feud has already run out of steam, and with a tag-team match set for tonight, the fans in attendance could be in for another mess.

#3 The New Day will fall to the Bludgeon Brothers

The brutal attack unleashed at Fastlane by the Bludgeon Brothers has tarnished the New Day’s chances to remain 100% for WrestleMania 34.

With the WWE continuing to book the Bludgeon Brothers strongly, there is no way the New Day will be escaping this one without a vicious beatdown.

The Bludgeon Brothers are rumored to win the Tag-Team Championships at ’the Grandest Stage of Them All’, and with the New Day not fully recovered, expect them to fall to the newly repackaged alliance.

#4 Shinsuke Nakamura continues his momentum

Shinsuke Nakamura’s dream feud with A.J. Styles hasn’t been very impressive and with only two weeks away left for WrestleMania, the company needs to let these Superstars push each other to the limits.

‘The King of Strong Style’ will be clashing with Shelton Benjamin for the first time in singles competition. And since Nakamura will be looking to gain more momentum, a post-match brawl with ’the Phenomenal One’ could get the fans invested.

A.J. Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura must be ‘The Feud’ on the blue brand, and since there is not much time left, we could expect a WrestleMania preview tonight.

#5 Daniel Bryan and Shane O’Mac’s WrestleMania status will be revealed

WWE has been tremendous in booking this feud for WrestleMania 34, and the recent assaults have only elevated the audience’s interest for tonight’s SmackDown.

Daniel Bryan’s heroic comeback was quickly tarnished by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens after the Leader of the YES Movement fired them.

The brutal annihilation led Bryan to leave on a stretcher, and with Shane O’Mac hospitalized with a serious illness, the company could be addressing the status of this feud tonight.
