Now, how do we use the hottest tag team in the world going forward? Since Monday Night Raw is notorious for poor booking decisions, there is a genuine fear that Matt and Jeff Hardy’s return to the company will sour very quickly.

Well, we are here today to see how the WWE can ensure that doesn’t happen. So, without any further ado, here are 5 booking options for The Hardy Boyz after their return at WrestleMania 33:

#5) The Hardy Boyz vs. Cesaro and Sheamus

The post-WrestleMania episode of Raw saw Cesaro and Sheamus defeat Enzo Amore and Big Cass to become the new Number 1 Contenders for the Raw Tag Team Championships. When this match will happen has not yet been announced.

The one thing that WWE can do is stick with this angle and see if they can keep it going for the long run instead of making it a placeholder feud until something bigger can be arranged for Matt and Jeff Hardy.

Cesaro and Sheamus have proven themselves as a pretty legit tag team who are quite over with the crowd, and this can lead to a pretty good feud overall. The problem with this is that both teams are babyfaces, and it does not make for an intriguing angle.

#4) The Hardy Boyz vs. The Club

Even though Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson lost their rematch for the Raw Tag Team Champions on the most recent episode of Monday Night Raw, the two teams enjoyed a pretty good match.

The chemistry between the two teams was there for all to see and The Club’s heel-ish disposition is perfect for the feud. They are relentlessly booed – as they should be – and The Hardy Boyz are so over that they will always be cheered.

The Club are the better option when compared to the likes of The New Day, Enzo & Cass, and Cesaro & Sheamus who are all natural faces. There is an excellent long term feud which can be booked here if the WWE plays the right cards.

#3) Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy

This is one option that nobody wants to see, but there is every possibility that the WWE could split-up The Hardy Boyz.

The company has always been keen on pushing Jeff Hardy as a single’s competitor and might decide that they would like to do the same again. For Jeff to become a single’s competitor who can challenge for major titles, he will have to separate from his brother.

There is no way they will be able to do an amicable break up without a feud, so we might very well see one of the Hardys turn on the other setting up a feud which will allow “Brother Nero” to get back to the position he occupied in 2009.

I sincerely hope this doesn’t happen as the WWE’s tag team division needs some real help and the Hardy Boyz are the perfect team to do that for now.

#2) The Hardy Boyz vs. American Alpha

One of the reasons for the weak tag team divisions on both Raw and Smackdown is the dearth of excellent tag teams. One way this problem can be solved is by combining both divisions into one unified tag team division.

The unification match can see the Raw Tag Team Champions, The Hardy Boyz take on the Smackdown Tag Team Champions, American Alpha in a match which promises to offer the very best of tag team wrestling.

This one is extremely unlikely to happen as the WWE seems hell-bent on maintaining two weak tag team divisions instead of a single strong one.

#1) The Hardy Boyz vs. The Revival

One of the best tag teams in the world today just made their debuts on Monday Night Raw. The Revival answered The New Day’s open challenge and managed to beat the longest reigning Tag Team Champions of all-time in a highly impressive first match on the main roster.

Dash Wilder and Scott Dawson are without a shadow of a doubt the best opponents for The Hardy Boyz to feud against for the foreseeable future. They play their roles as heels to perfection, and their tag team skills are unparalleled today.

It would be an absolute treat to see them face off against Matt and Jeff. This could be the feud that finally makes the tag team division matter.
