The ‘Notorious’ suffered perhaps the worst loss of his career in his most recent match. In addition to going down 2-1 in his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier, Conor McGregor also suffered a freak injury. While most of the MMA community has written the southpaw off, he has remained busy on Twitter.

On that note, let’s take a look at five deleted Conor McGregor tweets that caused outrage in the MMA world.

#5 “Piss ants to me you all are” - Conor McGregor dismisses UFC 264 loss

Conor McGregor broke his tibia in the closing moments of round one at UFC 264, losing via TKO (doctor’s stoppage) against Dustin Poirier. ‘The Diamond’ was fighting well before the fight was called off, and was awarded the first round 10-8 by the judges.

After the fight, Conor McGregor displayed frustration with the decision in a Tweet that he later deleted. In the post, he took shots at the match officials and everyone who believed Dustin Poirier had dominated the Irishman in the fight. He also refused to agree that a doctor’s stoppage could mean a TKO. The tweet caused outrage in the MMA community, as the Irishman called the analysts ’novice bums’.

Conor McGregor wrote in his tweet:

#4 “I wouldn’t even piss on ya’s” - Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor watched the latest UFC event headlined by the interim heavyweight title fight. Sitting comfortably with his family at the Beverly Hills Hotel, the Irishman couldn’t help but think about the events that have transpired over the last few weeks.

The ‘Notorious’ took shots at his detractors, who wrote him off after his UFC 264 loss, through another tweet. Of course, the Dubliner later deleted the tweet. However, it became viral on the internet because of the hatred Conor McGregor displayed towards the MMA community. He had written:

#3 Conor McGregor fires shots at Daniel Cormier

Conor McGregor’s ill feelings against Khabib Nurmagomedov and Dustin Poirier have been public for some time. However, the Irishman now has another UFC legend on his hit list - Daniel Cormier. In a series of deleted tweets, Mcgregor fired shots at the former UFC double champ for his commentary at UFC 264 and comments on the Irishman’s state of mind.

Daniel Cormier branded Conor McGregor’s hurtful tweets about Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father a ‘cry for help’. McGregor responded by tweeting a photo of the UFC star-turned-commentator from the latest UFC event with a caption that read:

Conor McGregor posted another tweet along with a picture of him kicking Dustin Poirier. Mocking Cormier’s UFC 264 commentary, he wrote:

Responding to the tweets, Daniel Cormier said on his podcast ‘DC & RC’:

Conor McGregor did not stop at that, and continued insulting Cormier for a list of things, while also praising Jon Jones for his head kick against the former light heavyweight champion.

#2 “Man to man, it’s f***ed up” - Conor McGregor drags Dustin Poirier’s wife into their feud

One of Conor McGregor’s initial tweets that caused outrage in the MMA world was regarding Dustin Poirier’s wife. In an attempt to get under the skin of Poirier, the Irishman claimed that he was getting message requests from Jolie Poirier, wife of the #1-ranked UFC lightweight.

Dustin Poirier mocked Conor McGregor ahead of the fight with a tweet that said:

Conor McGregor took things a bit too far once again in his response. He told Poirier in a later tweet, which he deleted:

The ‘Notorious’ drew flak from the MMA community for bringing people’s families and wives into his personal feuds.

#1 “Covid is good and father is evil?” - Conor McGregor jokes about the death of Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father

At number 1 on our list is another example of McGregor crossing the line. This was perhaps the most controversial tweet by Conor McGregor, which he later deleted. He was scrutinized for it not just by Khabib Nurmagomedov, but by many other notable personalities in the MMA community.

It all started when Khabib took to Twitter after UFC 264 to congratulate Dustin Poirier on his win against Conor McGregor. ‘The Eagle’ wrote:

The Crumlin native took offense to the tweet and resorted to making a joke about the death of Khabib’s father. The now-deleted tweet read:

MMA legend Daniel Cormier hit out at McGregor for joking about someone’s death to get back at his rival. He said:

Cormier stated that while it is understandable to talk trash to build a fight, it was taking things ‘way too far’ to joke about something as sensitive as the death of a loved one, saying:

People from the MMA community, including Sean O’Malley and Khabib Nurmagomedov’s coach Javier Mendez, criticized Conor McGregor for his tweet. Khabib replied to McGregor’s tweet as well, posting:
